The current woodland uniform of the Royal Thai Army is a modern camouflage system designed to suit the dense, tropical environments found throughout Thailand. It reflects a contemporary approach to concealment, combining effective patterning with practical field design.

The pattern features a mix of greens, browns, and darker tones arranged in a complex layout intended to blend into jungle and forested terrain. Its design helps break up the wearer’s outline in environments with heavy vegetation, shifting light, and varied ground cover, making it well suited for both rural and jungle operations.

The uniform itself follows a cut similar to the American BDU, built for durability, comfort, and compatibility with current military equipment. Features are designed to allow ease of movement while providing accessible storage and effective use alongside load bearing gear and body armor.
